Description
Offered for sale is a highly original Mopar Dana 60 rear end for B-Body applications, assembled in August of 1968. This unit is an exceptional survivor and has never been altered, welded, repaired, or damaged.
Based on its condition, it appears this Dana 60 has never been apart. The vehicle it came from was parked in the mid-1970s, contributing to its outstanding originality. The BOM numbers and assembly date are clearly stamped on the right axle tube, making this an excellent candidate for numbers-correct restorations.
The housing has been professionally blasted and epoxy primed, preserving the metal while maintaining originality. It retains the original rear cover and pinion snubber, and the axle tubes are exceptionally clean and straight—one of the nicest examples you’ll find.
